What is Artemonde?
Artemondo Co., Ltd. is a fabric manufacturer headquartered in Osaka, whose motto is “materials that appeal to the senses.”
The company has its own brand, Number 5 Collection®, and is particularly strong in home fashion materials.
In recent years, they have been proactively incorporating sustainable materials and ingredients that take traceability into consideration, and are also focusing on proposing materials that are in line with the times.

What is the Number 5 Collection®?
A series of thick fabrics for interior and home fashion applications developed under Artemonde’s own brand.
They offer a wide variety of high-quality cotton, linen, and polyester fabrics that are perfect for interior fabrics such as curtains and cushion covers, and can also be used for apparel items.

●Art Satin series●
There is a wide variety of options, including the foil-like “Venus,” the dry-touch “Mars,” and the wet-feeling ” Orpheus .”
It is perfect for home and apparel applications where you want to add a unique shine, texture, and appearance.
This is a polyester material with an elegant luster reminiscent of foil processing.
It is supple, luxurious, and easy to care for, making it a great washable occasion item.
The luxurious embossed leather-like satin is made from polyester, so it is soft to the touch and easy to handle.
It is also perfect for apparel items, taking advantage of the unique leather-like embossed texture that does not easily come off even after washing.
●Soft Pile Series●
The thick, fluffy pile fabric shows off the craftsmanship of the craftsmen.
This material adds a luxurious texture to cushions, bath towels, and accessories, so it is also recommended as loungewear.

No formaldehyde processing, the soft pile surface is 100% cotton, soft to the touch and absorbent.
The base thread is made of polyester, so it does not shrink easily, fits well, and is easy to wash.
In addition, the air layer between the piles increases heat retention, making this an all-season product that can also be used in winter.
●Soft Mesh Series●
“ECO Mesh” and ” Milky Mesh ” are 100% polyester functional materials that are absorbent, quick-drying, and stretchy.
Recommended for outdoor and sportswear, as well as interiors where hygiene is required.

A flexible mesh fabric made from approximately 60% recycled polyester fibers.
The surface has a honeycomb structure, which gives it a dry, refreshing feel and a sporty look.
The special integrated structure of the outer fabric (mesh) and inner fabric (fleece) makes it easy to handle and not bulky. It is breathable and slightly see-through.
●Linen & Ramie series●
This canvas is a blend of linen and ramie, and is both natural and durable. It can be used for many purposes, such as curtains, cushions, and tablecloths.

This linen fabric is popular for its smooth, natural texture.
It is a material that is in demand all year round for home fashion because it is excellent at absorbing and releasing moisture.

●Polyester series●
The lineup includes “J Shantung” and ” Tsumugi Cloth “.
This is a series of durable, washable fabrics that are also suitable for use in commercial spaces such as hotels and inns .
The weft thread is made of slub yarn, giving the material a soft yet firm and elegant feel.
Since it is made of polyester, it is easy to handle and is formaldehyde-free, so you can use it with confidence.
●Hand-kneaded wrinkled series●
This series includes products such as ” Cotton Washer II “, “Gauze Washer” and ” Asuka Washer “, and is attractive for its deep wrinkled feel and texture.
Recommended for interiors that want to create a natural and sophisticated feel.

The non-formaldehyde processed fabric puts minimal stress on the woven fabric, bringing out the natural texture of the material.
