A common mistake is assuming that the listed size refers to the outer dimensions. If you order based on this misunderstanding, you may end up receiving a part that is larger than expected.

Since these metal parts are generally used in combination with tapes or straps, it is essential to select the size based on the tape width.

For example, if your belt width is 30mm, be sure to choose a 30mm D-ring or buckle for a proper fit.

About the Size Selection for Swivel Hooks (in Japanese “Nasukan”)

When ordering snap hooks, a common mistake has occurred in practice. One customer reviewed the catalog and mistakenly assumed that the size variations referred to differences in overall height rather than the inner width of the attachment loop. As a result, when they ordered a 30mm snap hook, they received the item shown in the image below, which was different from what they had expected.

What I actually wanted was something in the exact shape as shown in the catalog, so in the end, I reordered it in 10mm and was able to deliver the item as per the catalog specifications.

Since items like snap hooks are generally used with tapes, please remember that when there are size variations, the measurement refers to the inner dimension.
