I will give you a general introduction to the many different types of lace tapes, fabrics, and more available on ApparelX.

This lace is made by embroidering on a base fabric called a base cloth, and then dissolving the base fabric with chemicals to extract the lace-like parts.
The remaining thread and the melted base fabric and separate neatly, creating a delicate yet three-dimensional pattern.

Torchon

This lace is made by criss-crossing threads wound around bobbins using a jacquard device to create patterns.
Originally, it was made by hand in the same way as braiding, but now it has been mechanized.
It has a delicate yet warm texture that gives it a handmade feel.

Raschel

The general term for lace knitted on a raschel knitting machine is raschel lace.
Using tulle as a base, it is easier to create motifs such as floral patterns and a variety of other patterns.
It is knitted thin and flat, so it is often seen in blouses, lingerie, interior fabrics, and even curtains.

This lace is made using the Leavers lace machine invented in 1813 by John Leavers of England.
The thread is thin, which allows for complex and delicate patterns.
