While Asahi’s vintage zippers are well known, there are many other style available as well.
In this article, let’s talk about Asahi’s CZIP zipper, as well as things to note when ordering and what you need know.
C-ZIP
This is a rare zipper that is a reproduction of a zipper from about 100 years ago.
It is recommended for those who are not satisfied with vintage zippers and want to emphasize design and create a more old-fashioned feel.
●Weak strength
Because it faithfully reproduces the shape and atmosphere of 1905, it emphasizes design over functionality, so it is not suitable for practical use. This model is more like a decoration.
The strength is weaker than normal ones, so it is better to check in advance how it will be combined with other materials.
●High unit price
The price is high because it reproduces the shape and atmosphere of the 1905 era.
●Elements and sliders
There is only one size available, which is equivalent to size 8 of a regular zipper.
The slider lock function does not completely stop the slider.
If you choose element color N/BN, please specify which color you would like the slider to be.
Thing to check when placing an order
CZIP almost the same as Vintage zippers, there are only a few types to choose from, so it is not that confusing.
The information you need to note is the following points:
- Element size (There is only one type, eight sizes)
- Tape color (Choose from polyester colors)
- Element Color ( Nickel, Gold, Nickel mix Black Nickel, Black Nickel)
- Specifications (Closed end and Open end only)
- Metal fittings shape
- Slider (only 2 types 81CW & 81TY)
