I used a pretty strong phrase in the title, but here I’d like to introduce Senda’s standard lining from a bag fabric manufacturer.

Senda # Explained:

Senda is a manufacturer that mainly handles fabrics for bags. They stock a wide range of materials, from natural fibers like cotton and linen to synthetic fibers such as nylon and polyester, as well as synthetic leather and artificial suede. Their materials are widely used in fashion accessories and small goods.

We have selected one classic material each from three standard types: nylon, cotton, and rayon.

Nylon

201 210 Nylon Oxford AC

Available in 119 colors, made of 100% rayon, with a water-repellent finish on the surface and an acrylic coating on the back.

The 201 Nylon Oxford is the most ordered item on ApparelX(*) — it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that orders come in almost every single day.

Though it’s made with 210D yarn, the acrylic coating on the back provides enough firmness and structure.

216 Rich

Available in 48 colors, made of 100% nylon, with a lightly water-repellent surface and soft acrylic coating on the back.

This nylon twill fabric has the same yarn thickness and weave density as DAVIS by LIMONTA, a renowned Italian fabric manufacturer.

It features a refined, non-flashy sheen and, although made with 210D yarn, has a rich, substantial thickness.

218 Cordura Lip

Available in 24 colors, made of 100% nylon, with a silicone coating on the front and a polyurethane coating on the back.

This fabric uses CORDURA yarn made from 66 nylon, known for its excellent abrasion resistance.

The silicone coating on the surface provides superior water resistance. Despite being a coated fabric, it’s lightweight, making it suitable for both daily use and outdoor applications.

Cotton

408 Cotton Oxford

409 Clean Cotton Oxford

408: Available in 111 colors / 100% cotton / Hard starch finish
This is a classic oxford fabric used as a cotton lining.
With over 100 colors in stock, you’re sure to find the right match no matter what material you’re pairing it with. It’s relatively affordable for a lining material and highly versatile for various applications.

By the way, if you’re looking for a twill version, there’s also 418 Cotton Twill available.

409: Available in 16 colors / 100% cotton
409 Clean Cotton Oxford is an antibacterial and deodorizing cotton oxford fabric that meets the SEK Blue Label standards.
Like the 408, it’s a versatile, all-purpose fabric, but especially recommended for items like sports bags or pet accessories where odor control is important.

413 Sailor

Available in 52 colors, made of 100% cotton, mercerized and pre-shrunk, with a resin finish.

This fabric is thicker than the 408 Cotton Oxford.

It’s a classic No.11 cotton canvas with a stiff finish, making it easy to handle. The 112 cm width also offers efficient cutting.

While it’s commonly used as an outer material, it’s also great as a lining for tote bags that need to stand on their own — almost like a basket.

Rayon

172 Loricifera Shantung

182 10 Shantan

Available in 53 colors / 100% rayon / Acrylic coating on the back
The 172 Douguchi Shantung has thicker weft yarns than the 182 10 Shantung, resulting in more pronounced ribs and a slightly thicker feel.

Both types of shantung have a texture reminiscent of kimono obi (sashes), making them a great choice for designs with a traditional Japanese aesthetic.
