Comparison and introduction of 3 SAP Linings
Ever wonder what SAP lining was? “SAP” is a trademark of Toray. There are two theories about the origin of the name: one is that it is an abbreviation of “Support” and the other is that it is an abbreviation of “Supple,” which means flexibility or pliability.
“SAP lining” is a thin polyester lining with a crisp feel, and is mainly used as a cool lining for women in the summer. With SAP, you don’t have to worry about it getting sticky.

Differences between the three SAP lining (7100S, T1200R, 1005)
7100S SAP® Cool lining
(sweat absorbing, quick drying)
7100S is the cheapest of the three items. It is a popular lining at ApparelX and is ordered often. We have it in stock, so it is recommended for those who are in a hurry to receive it. It is available in a wide range of brown colors.
T1200R SAP® Cool Lining
(Sweat Absorbing, Quick Drying)
The T1200R is made from the same fabric as the 7100S, but is available in a different color.
The T1200R is available in a wider variety of colors than the 7100S. The unit price is a little higher than the 7100S, but if you are particular about the color, we recommend this over the 7100S.
1005 SAP Cool stretch lining
(sweat absorbing, quick drying)
1005 has the fewest color variations among the three linings. However, it has about 15% stretchability, which the other two do not have.
There is also a less scratchy feeling compared to the 7100S and T1200R, and it feels more flexible.
